Creating Videos to Market Your Business
A two night workshop, being offered on January 10, 2012 & January 17, 2012
This two session workshop will teach you how to produce a video and use it on popular websites such as YouTube and Vimeo to market
your business. The class is designed for marketing and advertising professionals from medium to large companies as well as small
business owners.
Presented over two evenings, this workshop will help you learn what you need to get started, how to use both free and inexpensive tools,
and provide hands on experience in the major aspects of production.
Topics to be covered include:
1. How to set up a YouTube Channel.
2. How to use YouTube's analytical tools to track the success of your video.
3. What to look for when purchasing video equipment, including an overview of cameras, chips, resolutions and recording media.
4. During this workshop, we will demonstrate different cameras and explain the benefits of each. Participants will have the opportunity to try
the equipment to get a feel for how they work.
5. How to use lighting and sound to create a professional product
6. The five most common mistakes amateur video enthusiasts make, and how to avoid them.
7. An examination of what makes a video go "viral," and how you can promote your videos through social media venues such as Facebook,
LinkedIn and Twitter.
8. How to edit using computer based tools. This portion of the class is taught in our computer lab, where each student will have access to
their own individual computer workstation as the video software is demonstrated. You will have plenty of time to experiment with the
software while a teacher is there to guide you.
9. Each student will receive a workbook and a CD with both commercial demos and shareware programs that can be used in your own
productions.
.Each student will receive an additional hour of one-to-one training or consulting, at our offices, anytime within 6 months after the workshop.

The workshop is being taught over two nights, January 10, 2012 and January 17, 2012 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM each night at our facility in
Parsippany, NJ. Light refreshments will also be served
